Leadership Academy Mentors and projects for 2008-09 are:
- Recruiting for Diversity in the Graduate School. Dr. Natalie Adams, Assistant Dean of The Graduate School, to be mentored by Dr. Margaret King, Former Vice President for Student Affairs.
- A Campus Model for Coordinating Decentralized Assessment Activities. Dr. Katie Busby, Director of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning, to be mentored by Dean Jim McLean.
- Focus on Teaching in Technical Research Arenas. Dr. David Cordes, Professor and Department Head in the Department of Computer Science, to be mentored by Dean Robert Halli.
- Using Data Mining for Institutional Effectiveness. Dr. Mike Hardin, Senior Associate Dean of Commerce and Business Administration, to be mentored by Provost Judy Bonner.
- Regional Economic Development as a Product of University Entrepreneurship. Dr. Rick Swatloski, Licensing Associate for the Office of Technology Transfer, to be mentored by Dr. Pam Parker, Vice President for Advancement
